The Discoverer HT3 is Cooper's Highway All-Season light truck tire developed for the drivers of pickup trucks, full-size SUVs, vans and commercial vehicles. Designed to combine a quiet and smooth operation with long life, even wear and reassuring traction, the Discoverer HT3 provides predictable handling on dry and wet roads, as well as in light snow.

The Discoverer HT3 molds a high-silica tread compound into a commercial use-focused, symmetric pattern. The continuous shoulder ribs help resist irregular wear caused by consistent stopping, starting and turning, while the interlocking 3D Micro-Gauge siping aids tread block stability for vehicle handling responsiveness. The four wide, circumferential grooves allow water to flow through the contact patch to resist hydroplaning, while the zigzag sipes create the biting edges necessary for traction in slippery, wet and wintry conditions.

Internal construction of the Discoverer HT3 consists of two high-strength steel belts reinforced by a single-ply, nylon reinforcement cap. The two-ply, polyester casing helps manage the balance between durability and ride comfort.
